Thank you for visiting the website of St Barnabas.

We are a C of E parish church serving a wide community on the south side of Gloucester city. The church building itself is impressive, and with its size, position on the main A38, and floodlit cross is well known to the many people who drive past. The church is always open during the day as a place of quietness and prayer for any who wish to visit.

Our priority, as I hope you will find as you visit this site, is to speak of the peace and hope that the Christian faith offers in today’s world.

We love to welcome people to our worship and to the many activities of our church life. We come from mixed backgrounds and every generation, and we all have different experiences and expressions of our Christian faith.

We call ourselves a “church family” because we know that each of us is loved by God.

Please enjoy exploring the site, and we hope to meet you in person!
